trip 2

successful trip 1

Nana Camp Day 3 continued

Of course clipping the maple tree a must until I discovered a 10 in. wasp nest 3 FEET AWAY! !!! Went to the garden and picked carrots, tomatoes and the beans the kids planted, then a visit with Violet, Julie Berryman's daughter.  Play Date!

Nana Camp Day 3

The kids start the day by jumping in bed with me and we figure out what we should do today.   Alton Brown's pancakes,  filling out our weather charts start out the morning.

Experiments

What happened to the water?  How can we get the fruit out?  What is a liquid?   What is a solid?

Bounce!

Love the kids airborne!

Nana Camp Day 2

Start our breakfast with frittata, bringing in the recycling tote, preparing our experiment on freezing and melting,  then off to the Corner Park for fun while things freeze up.

Jakob's Monday

Here Jakob is floating in 4 ft water, playing the bounce pad and splash pad and showing me how to make a perfect circle in his sandwich!

Nana Camp Day 1

Shopping for Crocs which Sienna calls "cracks", sunglasses and a hat, refueling before we left, water guns used to shoot bugs and eating beans out of the garden.  And of course clipping! They are so joyful.
